Very often it can be caused by tight hamstrings. Your whole body is connected so when one muscle is tight it can lead to pain and tightening in another area of your body. Your hamstrings are the muscles that run along the back of your thighs, from behind your knees to the bottom of your pelvis. When your hamstrings are tight, they can pull downward constantly on your pelvis contributing to an unstable lower back.  Treating the low back can be good but the problem may not resolve itself until you loosen the root of the problem, the hamstrings. Sit on the floor with one leg out straight and the other leg bent at the knee with the sole of your foot against the opposite inner thigh. Extend your arms reaching forward over the one straight leg by bending at the waist as far as possible until you feel the stretch. We still get numerous requests for in home massage and we spend a lot of time referring out to therapists all over NY, NJ and CT as clients don't know where to go to find mobile massage therapists. We are grateful to have come in contact with so many awesome therapists and we feel like our clients still want this service so we were really compelled to do something about it. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We have created In Home Massage.Org to connect the therapist that will travel with the client that wants mobile services.  We feel there is such a need for in home massage but clients often have a hard time locating mobile therapists that will travel to their homes, offices, vacation destinations, etc. It went live this month and for a limited time we are offering a 60 day free trial for massage therapists to check it out. It's been a lot of fun and everyone is seeing great results. All the bootcampers have been working so hard and are determined to push themselves which is awesome. Yesterday we did  an obstacle course with Hoola Hoops and jumping balls. Its amazing how fast using a hoola hoop comes back to you. It is such a good time you don't even realize your strengthening your ab muscles. If you've never climbed before you may want to check it out. I was very weary of it before I tried it. I made up every excuse I could to not try it. So glad I finally caved in, opened up and branched out to trying it. Rock climbing is by far one of the best physical and mental challenges. It requires strenth, stamina, endurance, and flexibility on all levels.Rock climbing burns about 380 calories in 30 minutes. There are a lot of &lt;a href="http://www.gravityvault.com/"&gt;indoor climbing gyms&lt;/a&gt; that have popped up all over if you'd like to give it a try. Its an awesome alternative to the normal gym workout. Most of these facilities will get you started with safety and equipment issues. Just do an internet search to find one near you. Then when you get really brave and excited about it, hire a guide and give a try outdoors. Its been a while since we climbed, but these pics are from the Gunks in New Paltz, NY and Railay Beach in Thailand. Good stuff! I have no idea how many steps there are because I had the baby and was wearing flip flops but Mark did a quick 15 minute workout up and down the stairs among all the locals exercising. We've both been to Red Rocks for concerts when we used to live there. I used to bike on the surrounding trails as well. But it was really cool to see that the folks in the area use this beautiful space to workout in when there's nothing else going on in there.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Outdoor Exercise of the day.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Two Leg Stair Hops&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Good for:&lt;br /&gt;Anaerobic and Aerobic Cardiovascular fitness&lt;br /&gt;Explosive power&lt;br /&gt;Dynamic strength and flexibilty&lt;br /&gt;And much more&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Stand with both legs slightly apart and jump up the stairs. Start with hoping up one stair and the challenge yourself by advancing over more than one at a time.   It's pretty simple so here are some things to keep in mind while you stair hoping. Take off with two feet and land with two feet.    Land gently with your toes first then your heels. Try to make your landing as silent as possible.  A hard ridged landing will not feel good.  Let your hips go back as you take off and land.  Make sure that your knees are not going over your toes.  This is so your glutes/butt muscles get the work out. Lastly check in with your knee position.  Knees should be aligned with your toes.  Makes sure that your knees don't cave in as if you were knock kneed or fall out as if your were overly bow legged.  And most importantly HAVE FUN!!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;After you perform the stair hop going up try it on the way down.     &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This exercise requires only a set of stairs preferably outside.  The stairs at Red Rocks were really cool as they are actually the seats inside the concert venue.  From top to bottom I counted 65 rows this made for a really effective workout with an amazing scenery. We both used to live out in Colorado so this was a very welcome trip which brought back lots of memories. Anyway we were able to get a few hikes in with the baby in between a wedding and a CU graduation that we were there for.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Active outdoor lifestyles are an awesome way to stay fit. Hiking helps to condition your major muscle groups and get a heart pumping workout. Its also an inexpensive way to escape the monotomy of the gym, get in touch with nature and give yourself a major mental health break from life. The stress just seems to burn off while you walk, run, climb and have uninterrupted "me" time. Hiking gives you a refreshed outlook and perspective on life.  It amazes me everytime I'm in Colorado how fit everyone is. From biking to hiking to rock climbing ~its an outdoor playground for children and adults. We hiked up in Chattaqua Park in Boulder one of the first days were were there. 80 degrees and absolutely beautiful while we hiked up to the second flatiron. Mark had Talia in her Baby Bjorn which she had the best time in. Lots of folks climb the flatirons once they hike up. More on that later as we are huge climbing fans and its an absolutey awesome way to stay fit.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Here's a picture of us from Mt Sanitas in Boulder.  Short and steep. This is only a 3.3 mile hike but it has lots of elevation changes starting at 5,520  and bringing you to 6,863 feet and back again. It has great views of the mountains to the west, Boulder to the east and the flatirons to the south. Its basically a personal training session without breaking the bank.  We'll transform a park in warwick into the ultimate adventure workout space giving you a total body workout.  Each session will last for 3 weeks. Each class last for 1 hour 3-4 days a week. At the begining and end of each 3 week session, the trainer will assess each boot camp participant. The assessment will allow the participant to set goals and measure there progress. Each participant will bring 3-8 lb dumbells, workout mat, water bottle, and good running sneakers.
